I really like the Chicken Chef chain of restaurants, good hardworking people, providing a quality product at a fair price. Always delicious, always, friendly, fast and clean. I have never had a bad meal at Virden or Portage LaPrairie locations.
Had the soup of the day which was very tasty. Then had the taco salad which was also good

What a great family restaurant- well worth the short hop off the main highway in Virden. Food and service was excellent - good value.
Was very busy and we were warned a few tables were before us, but the food was fast and awesome! Great chicken, fries, pizza and best of all, good hot coffee. Excellent service on top means we will be back if we are driving through again.
One of my favourite places & has been for years. Great food, great staff& always busy every time I go. People (customers) just keep coming back. That's a testament that speaks volumes to me. And it seems they are all happy to be there. But really......who doesn't like fried chicken. Lol.
